RESEARCH

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Konstanz interested in Information Structure and Questions in Urdu/Hindi. Currently, I am working on prosodic phrasing in interaction with word order and case marking in Urdu/Hindi. I am part of the P4: Information Structure and Questions in Urdu/Hindi as part of the Research Unit “Questions at the Interfaces” (FOR 2111). You can talk to me about the prosody of South Asian languages, lexical stress, polar questions, and many more interesting linguistic things.
